What we collect

Through the contact form: name, phone, town or city, optionally e-mail, the options you tick (for example type of home, gate, shutters) and free text. We collect no other personal data through the website.

Why, and on what legal basis

To contact you and arrange a site visit and consultation — at your request. Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) — steps taken before entering into a contract. Providing the data is voluntary; without a phone number we cannot call you.

How the data reaches us

The form opens your own e-mail app with a prepared message. The data reaches us as an e-mail only after you send it. The website does not store form data in a database.

Who else has access

• Google (Google Workspace) — our e-mail provider. Data may also be processed outside the EU; Google uses the transfer mechanisms provided for in the GDPR (standard contractual clauses and the EU–US Data Privacy Framework).
• Hetzner Online GmbH — website hosting, data centre in Germany.

We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

How long we keep it

Inquiries that do not lead to a contract — up to 12 months, then deleted. If we sign a contract, the data is kept for the term of the contract and as long as the law requires (for example for accounting).

Technical data from visits

The server records technical data: IP address, date and time, the page requested and the browser type — for the security and normal operation of the website. Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest). Kept for up to 14 days.

Cookies

The website uses no cookies and does not track your visits. Your browser stores only one technical marker so that the logo animation does not replay on every visit. Fonts are served from our own server, not from external services.

Your rights

You can request access to your data, correction, erasure, restriction of processing and portability, and you can object to the processing. Write to us at info@cedarsystems.eu.
